COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will first explore the Biblical foundation for pastoring.  Then we will consider how we can prepare ourselves for the work of pastoring which includes how God pastors us, how we should pastor ourselves first and then our families, and then our congregations.  We will also identify the many dangers, pitfalls, and minefields that pastors can face. Finally several insights from various pastoral books will be presented.
