COURSE DESCRIPTION
A Christ-centered introduction to the unfolding narrative and theological themes in redemptive history as a hermeneutic methodology with an emphasis on Covenant Theology as the revealed theological paradigm and man’s role and mandate within it.
INSTRUCTOR
Rev. Dr. Sacha Walicord, M.A., LL.M./J.D. (equiv.) is the senior pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church (Vanguard), Grand Rapids, Michigan USA. Visiting professor at the Reformed Theological Seminary, Giessen, Germany. Dr. Walicord has previously taught Theology of Worship, Doctrine of Scripture and Christian Ethics at BRTS.

- God’s covenants as the ordering paradigm throughout redemptive history
- The nature and extent of Christ’s Kingdom
- The people of God throughout redemptive history
- Continuity and Discontinuity between Old and New Testament
- The Great Commission throughout redemptive history

- Vos, Geerhardus: Biblical theology : Old and New Testaments, Eerdmans – Grand Rapids, Mich., 1975

- Book review (5 pages) of the book “That Hideous Strength” (30%). Deadline: November 9, 2024 (by the beginning of the course).
- Written exam on the course content (40%). Deadline: December 1, 2024
