COURSE DESCRIPTION
There is great overall agreement among confessionally Reformed Christians when it comes to the doctrine of God or the Gospel of the salvation of sinners. There is also great agreement as to how Christians should live or behave. But there is far less agreement as to how Christians should view the world, education, science, politics, economics, and everything else that pertains to daily life. The reason for this is that in the last century the church has become pietistic – it has turned inwards. By doing this she has ceased to apply the Word of God to all areas of life and robbed itself of parts of the riches of God’s Word. The Bible does speak to every area of life. In this course we will investigate how to apply God’s Word to the whole of human existence and thereby help Christians to live in, and interact with, the world in a consistently Biblical manner. We will also discover how to defend the consistently Biblical worldview against other worldviews.

2. The Bible and the world: The Antithesis.
